    Stephen Curry Injury Update

Golden State Warriors center Stephen Curry has suffered a left foot injury in Game 3 of the NBA Finals, the team announced Thursday. He was injured by Boston Celtics center Al Horford with about four minutes left to play in Game 3. Curry continued to play briefly before being taken out of the game. He exited the TD Garden with a limp. MRI results are pending. The Warriors are optimistic about Curry’s Game 4 availability.

    Curry’s recovery is progressing well

A quick update on Curry’s progress after surgery is in order. He is in good condition, but a full recovery may take months. The MRI reveals a fractured second metacarpal. The injury is a result of a freak collision between Curry’s wrist and the hardwood. Baynes’ collision with Curry’s wrist put a lot of pressure on the injured hand, which was exposed to the impact.

The Warriors have been without their star point guard for almost a month now. That’s about the same amount of time that Curry has missed the last four games. After that, they were unable to use him in their playoff run. The injury is a big deal for the Warriors, because Curry was sorely missed. But their season is not over. They will be traveling to the East Coast for a three-game trip against the Miami Heat on Thursday.

    He hasn’t had an MRI

A Warriors coach has confirmed that Stephen Curry will get an MRI tomorrow. Curry is expected to have the test on his right knee, and if the results are positive, that could help determine the extent of the damage. During the last game, the Warriors thrashed the Rockets 121-94. The initial MRI showed no structural damage. Then, Curry strained a tendon in the same foot.

Warriors coach Steve Kerr confirmed that Curry will miss another week. The MRI showed inflammation in the tailbone. A prolonged absence would be too costly for Golden State, which currently holds the No. 9 seed in the Western Conference. While the Warriors are unlikely to make it further than the conference semifinals, they can still compete in the play-in round if Curry is sidelined for a longer period.

He’s optimistic about his availability for Game 4

Robert Williams is a big question mark for Monday’s Game 4 against the Warriors. His availability is unknown for the fourth time in the title series and the Celtics are taking things slowly with their starting center. Whether the knee injury came in the last few minutes of the game or during a jump or landing, it is unclear. Nevertheless, the center is “optimistic” about his availability for Game 4.

It is not clear when Ben Simmons will return to the court, but he said today that he’s “very hopeful” about being able to play. Despite the delay, he has told reporters that he hopes to be available for Game 4 this weekend. According to Shams Charania, Ben Simmons is a great bet to play Game 4 on Saturday. If he’s unable to play, the Mavericks will likely have to rely on other players in the absence of Simmons.

He hasn’t had platelet-rich plasma treatment yet

The Golden State Warriors have won their first two games without star point guard Stephen Curry. The Warriors have not announced a timetable for Curry’s return. Stephen Curry isn’t the only NBA star to have been treated with platelet-rich plasma. Former NBA star Kobe Bryant has also used this treatment. The process involves concentrating platelets from a patient’s blood and injecting them back into the injured area.

It’s important to remember that the Warriors haven’t yet administered platelet-rich plasma treatment to Curry’s knee. He was not able to play in the first two games due to the injury. While the Warriors haven’t publicly announced the protocol, Andrew Bogut, who suffered from the same knee injury, had it done and returned to the lineup. As a result, he helped Golden State win the NBA championship.
